GOOD QUALITY HAYLAGE

WHY FEED YOUR HORSES
PRESTWICK HAYLAGE?

save on hard feed costs // no soaking or wet and messy yards // high palatability means no wastage and fewer fussy eaters // no dust so healthier horses (and staff!) and fewer vet bills // wrapped with six layers for outside storage, so saves on barn or stable space

OUR GUARANTEE: Haylage is still cheaper and much more consistent than hay. If you are unfortunate enough to find a spoiled bale (usually caused by a pin hole in the wrap) we will be happy to replace it, so it really is a cost effective option.

HOW HAYLAGE CAN MAKE
A DIFFERENCE

Many horses suffer to some degree from respiratory problems that may range from an undetected condition to COPD and is frequently connected to an allergy to the dust and spores that are found even in good hay. This can be partially controlled by soaking the hay before feeding but, when a number of horses are stabled, this can create a substantial amount of extra work in the winter. Even worse, the water carries away significant amounts of nutrients and creates a pollution hazard. Feeding horses with haylage can alleviate these issues.
